fourth amendment

Constitutional Connection:

Amendment Iv, Bill of Rights:" The right of the poeple to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to beb searched, and the persons or things be siezed.

Analysis:

The founding fathers wanted to prevent search and siezure problems they encountered in England. they took into consideration a mans right to property and how a person should be able to take a mans property or search it with out proper documentation stating that they could.

When making the fourth amendment th founding fathers made it so that government agents must have a llegal warrant in order to search and sieze a persons property of self and physical property.

The above cartoon illustrates government agents doing an unwarranted wiretap on a baby ( but they dont know that) because it is unwarranted they dont have any idea who they are listening to, and the cartoon shows that. The situation could have been avoided had they have gotten a warant then they would know who they are listening to.

I  dont know what the world would be like if it wasnt for the fourth amendment. i think that eveyone would be wire tapped and spied on by the government and no one would have any type of privacy within their own homes and institutions. And i think the founding fathers made a good choice in protecting that right of the poeple.
