"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States"

Explanation of Connection: It is the job of the legislation to "provide for the common Defense and General Welfare of the United States". Congress are bickering over whether free healthcare should be given to U.S citizens.it is a trending topic and a issue seen all over politics. In providing for the welfare of the United States the health of the popel that inhabit it should be greatly considered.
   This video demonstrates Article 1, section 8, Clause 1 of the united states constitution. Along with laying an collecting taxes congress must prvide for the general welfare and defense of the people. in doing that they can provide healthcare and security .This video demonstrates the power the votes of both sides of Congress and how there votes can potentialy change the lives of millions of Americans.
    I agree with the vote of congress to give free health care to all Americans. i found the video to be interesting because it gave numbers and info about the bill and how many members of congress participated in passing the Healthcare Bill. I also like how passing this Bill made such a historic impact on America. But I dont see what the big problem was in why people did not want the Bill to be passed.
